2 MONTHS OUT
Guess I'm a little discouraged with the progress thus far.
This month was very hard, I was stalled for most of the month.
My heaviest at consult: 245
Day of Surgery: 235
1 month out: 203
2 months out: 191
So a loss of 44 lbs total since surgery and 54 since my heaviest before surgery.
I guess that's good, I just wish I hadn't stalled for weeks this last month.
Haven't done measurements yet, I'll do those tonight, I think that is where I'll see progress. :)
Just thought I'd update everyone.
Thanks.
Now don't you get so down on yourself! Take a look at the whole picture - you've LOST FOREVER 54 pounds. That's more than one of those big ole bags of dog food! Your body was just adjusting itself getting used to the new you! Once it's adjusted it'll start coming off again! Hang in there princess - It'll happen! You're doing awsome!

OMG you are complaining because you only lost 44 lbs in 2 months???? Let me ask you this, WHEN in the heck was the last time you did that???? I bet the word NEVER comes up. You didn't get fat overnight, so you aren't going to get skinny overnight. The word is called Patience, now get off the soapbox of complaints and be so damn happy and proud of yourself!!! I am two years out and have been stalled for a very long time, maybe 9 months, up and down the same 5 lbs, and I need to lose another 50, but I am not out here complaining. I am happy and content and if this is where I stay at 225...then this is where I stay, and I love myself, no matter!
Also if you think that you have seen your last stall....don't kid yourself if happens to EVERYONE! More than once!!!

54lbs...Wow That is amazing! I am so happy for you. Just think about it 54lbs gone forever..
. Just remember when your not dropping weight, your dropping inches.
Your body sometimes will plateau because it thinks you are starving it, when really your not. Just give it time to catch up and when you least expect it, you'll step on that scale and see you've lost some more. It's like magic..lol
p.s. You're in Onderland..

I feel your confusing. I was a slow loser in the being. I was asking my doctor what am I doing wrong, he yelled at me that I have been looking at the picture the wrong way.
SOOOOO
Look at this way. YOU LOST 44 pound. Stop looking back, and look forward. You didn't have a lot to lose compared to me, and lots of others, so you will lose slower, but the key note here is YOU ARE LOSING. And if you are losing the right way, (per your doctors orders) Who care how fast, all that matter is you are doing it the right way, healthy way.
Stand proud. Be proud. You are doing a great job.
Just my two cent

Hey Turtle,
I feel just the same as you, and we are entitled to our feelings, because they belong to us!!! People can give advice OR YELL (not helpful in my opinion) at you, but in the long run, you are doing great girl!!
I am also 2 months out and have "gotten rid of" 41 pounds since surgery a total of 50 since August 6th. (I dont say LOST, because that makes me think I need to find it) I have also hit that dreaded plateau... But I have talked to many and they say this is very common.
So, hang in there and keep you chin up girlie!!
Big Hug for you,
Sweeny
